About the event

Yoga asana provides ample opportunity to decompress our spines. Most of us, however, bring our dysfunctional alignment patterns into our practice, and aren't able to fully reap the benefits of the movement meant to lengthen and heal the spine.

In this 4-hour spinal health workshop, we will explore both anthropological and functional theories of spinal alignment.  With special attention to pelvic alignment, we will practice sitting, standing, hip hingeing and moving through basic yoga poses while maintaining this safe and healing alignment. 

Whether you are among the 85% of Westerners who has experienced back pain, or would prefer not to be, this workshop is for you!
