Yoga

"Breath is the bridge that connects life to consciousness"

-Thich Nhat Hanh

I completed my 200hr teacher training at Live Love Teach in Rhode Island, and  started teaching at Portland Power Yoga in 2016. I teach mindful-vinyasa: focused first and foremost on disciplined breath management (pranayama). I also teach Yin yoga, as a practice of deep allowing.

I work to have each class be an opportunity to be fully present through the challenges that come with movement and with stillness. Our lives require strength and tenderness in equal measure, and I strive to provide ample opportunity to practice both in every class.

I am available for private yoga sessions to refine your own practice--body, mind, or spirit--as well as group workshops and studio classes.

Psychotherapy clients are welcome to incorporate yoga into their healing work, through breath, movement, or exploring Vedic philosophy and practices.
